logo sketches

I am currently embarking on the treacherous task of "branding myself"...I figured I would keep you all posted on the progress.
My class requires that we have our "business cards completed" by tomorrow...but there is no way that in one week I could put the delicate thought and time into this big of a project...so for tomorrow will be the "in progress" brand.

This will be an ongoing project for me this year, as i find myself through my work, my portfolio, and more research. I'll keep you posted :)

RAVMM

This is some prelim work for a project that I am currently working on, a B-Movie Poster for the show entitled "Revenge of the Abominable Voodoo Molemen". They're not completely done yet, there are a few places that I either neglected for the moment or forgot to transfer to the clean copy. Asides from that, Any suggestions or favorites?

SummaTime

I promise I have not forgotten about you. Life and the erratic schedule have put my ability to complete anything on hold. Although, this summer I have started a tumblr, mostly for my own benefit, to be able to keep a collection of artist's work that i admire or find, without using up space on my hard drive. Check it out if you would like: http://inspiremonica.tumblr.com/

i'll be posting soon with the things i have been working on...as soon as i finish them :D

Father's Day

For Father's Day I made my dad a card from all 3 of us kids : )
I thought I would share it with you all.

After I printed it out, I wrote "HUG" with duct tape across the inside pages.

Self Portrait Project

On my quest to find my artistic self...here is where I am starting. Each week I am going to do a style study, until I find something that I like, and would like to explore for the rest of the summer. The first week my style was based off of Alberto Cerriteno's work, and my second based off of Peter DeSeve, two of my favorite illustrators. For studies, I found these were very interesting. I am still battling with my photoshop skills, but I have made great strides since my original attempts last fall. This is what I have until next week when I post my next study. explore explore explore is my summer motto! :)
