Father's Day

For Father's Day I made my dad a card from all 3 of us kids : )
I thought I would share it with you all.

After I printed it out, I wrote "HUG" with duct tape across the inside pages.

Self Portrait Project

On my quest to find my artistic self...here is where I am starting. Each week I am going to do a style study, until I find something that I like, and would like to explore for the rest of the summer. The first week my style was based off of Alberto Cerriteno's work, and my second based off of Peter DeSeve, two of my favorite illustrators. For studies, I found these were very interesting. I am still battling with my photoshop skills, but I have made great strides since my original attempts last fall. This is what I have until next week when I post my next study. explore explore explore is my summer motto! :)

My own little world

the past few weeks have been very reflective and magnificent...however, i feel as unproductive as ever. I have been studying some illustrators that I really admire, Alberto Cerriteno, Peter DeSeve, Denis Zilber, Melissa Peck, and Brittany Lee, and I have been finding in their work what I want mine to have. I need to have a world to call my own. It needs to incorporate all of these colors, shapes, and details that I find in these paintings that I see. It needs to have texture and pattern and other elements that I love. It needs to be a world that I would be willing to live in for atleast the next few years, if not longer.
This summer, I am going exploring, and I hope that I will be able to show you all of the incredible things I discover.
